MUNIT and Jörg have been creating a most unique, exciting and energized
blend of Ethio-Acoustic Soul music in Addis Abeba, around Ethiopia and the
world!
Since the duo formed in 2007, they have had a great journey
entertaining thousands of people and performing in all the best jazz and
world clubs and theatres in Addis Abeba and globally.
With just one voice and one guitar, their performances take their audience on a journey,
as Munit’s voice soars in perfect harmony and beat with the rhythmic
strumming and drumming of Jörg’s playing, creating a positive and uplifting
vibration in their dynamic shows!

Munit and Jörg have performed in many festivals around the country, such as
the Ethiopian Music Festival, Fêtes de la Musique, the Acacia Jazz and World
Music Festival (in 2010 and 2011) and at Selam Festival.
In 2012, they also traveled and performed in Egypt and did a festival tour
in Spain after being selected from more than 14 bands that competed in the
Vis-a-Vis initiative through Casa Africa. Munit and Jörg performed at the
21st Canarias Jazz y Más Music Festival on three Canary Islands and at
Pireneos Sur and finally at Festival Etnosur.They were received with tremendous love and ovation as they represented
Ethiopian contemporary music!
Munit and Jörg released their second album "2" in March 2013. They recently
completed a tour of the East Coast of the US, the "Coming to America" tour
where they promoted their album and performed in DC, NY and Boston. They
will also be on a tour in Germany in October/November 2013.
