MZEKEZEKE whose real name is Zakhele hails from Mnonjaneng, Tembisa. This humble 21 year old who comes from a family of six left school in standard eight with an ambition to become a Kwaito star.

This determined young man would not let anything get in the way of his dreams and achieving what he wanted. His persistence to become a Kwaito star saw him knocking on every Kwaito musicians door, but nobody would give him a chance.

Instrumentation:
vocals
Genre: kwaito

Until one day he landed on the doorstep of Y-FM DJ Sbu who saw the determination in the eyes of this young man and introduced him to DJ Rudeboy Paul and Unathi of the same station. Dj Sbu and Mzekezeke made Paul and Unathi an offer they could not resist and that was the start of the Mzekezeke era of radio.

Mzekezeke’s refreshing kasi style of treating celebrities like ordinary people helps to remind the musicians that they are still human, no matter how big they may be. This style has become an Mzekezeke trademark where you tune into the radio to hear what he's gonna say next. He gives you unedited Kasi comedy.

His success on radio has shown and proven to people that you can make it even with limited education or the lack of proper English.
